Gaston County District Attorney’s Office

Current District Attorney

Alan Martin has served as the Gaston County District Attorney since 2019. He brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the role, having previously worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Gaston County and as a prosecutor in the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office.

Martin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Gaston County Bar Association.
